Apple Guides link not working/ breaking when trying to share

Sharing a new guides map is breaking the link and making it so you can’t share with other people. Works fine on my phone but recipients get the images below

Apple maps guide sharing issue Hello, I see others have had this problem but no one has brought a resolution. The issue is when sharing a guide created in apple maps over iMessage, it pops up with a guide image/link along with a loooong messy URL and when the recipient clicks it, it doesn't do anything. I discovered that it's because iMessage apparently has a text limit and the URL the guide sharing feature creates is too long. If you use other data-messaging apps like Facebook Messenger, Instagram Messenger, Whatsapp it can send the entire link and it works (when sharing, use the "copy" feature and paste in a message in those apps or share directly through those apps). I thought I'd share here since the other threads on this topic are closed and/or Apple can possibly fix the link length issue when sharing a guide through iMessage. Cheers.

Cannot share a link via text When I click the share button in an app I cannot share the link via text.

Can no longer paste Wordle grid to Facebook I have been playing Wordle through Google on my iPhone 11 for many months and successfully pasting the results to Facebook. A few days ago, it stopped pasting the grid. After playing the game I do still get the "share" button and it says it has copied it, but when I share to Facebook, it only pastes a link to the nyt. I have updated the phone, cleared out nyt cookies, restarted etc. and nothing has helped. I feel pretty sure that it's a setting on my phone since no one else I know is experiencing it. Any suggestions?

I am not sure how you are using the share option and why use a link?

Share the Guide: Scroll to the top of the Guide, tap , then choose an option.
