Audio/Music not resuming after a call, alarm or other interruption

Does this occur if you are playing music directly from your iPhone or using another audio source, like a Bluetooth headset, speaker, or car stereo? Does it happen no matter the audio source?

We also notice that iOS 13 is listed as the OS on your iPhone. If you haven’t already, back up and update to iOS 16.3.1 as stated in the last post. This could resolve the issue. Here’s how:

1. "Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do."

Force the app to close. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

Restart your device

Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

Check for updates

To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then scroll down to see if updates are available. If updates aren't available for the app, update the software on your iPhone or iPad.
