sync two external hard drives

I have data on one 10TB WD HDD that I would like to back up to another identical drive. I know I can copy and paste but I am wondering if there is a way to automate this process and have one drive mirror the other drive and update when changes are made.

Thank you for any replies!

I also recommend going to a RAID system however as suggested this is not a backup solution however it will ensure your data is synced and has integrity. If you need some assistance on RAID solutions, I would recommend reaching out to macsales.com, they have many RAID solutions, I am sure you will find one that fits your needs.

A second option is cloning one drive to the other. You can use either Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper!, both do the same thing. These are paid for apps (about $40) and will backup one drive to the other.
