Why is an apple tv show so dark on my samsung tv?

Problem is the same wherever I watch. I have an Imac ( 2019 21.5"), when I view Apple TV movies on the app, on my computer screen, even with the brightness set to max, the image is still too dark.

On our TV, we have a Roku box to get Apple Tv, and we have the same problem, most of the feature films or series like Truth be Told we try to watch on Tv are very dark, even in a dark room at night.

We only have this problem when watching Apple TV, it just seems that a lot of their productions come across with very dark backgrounds, to the point where you can almost not see the show.
