Why won't Siri read my alarm time out loud?

The whole point is to hear Siri say the alarm time, not see it. It does show a banner, but I don't want to look at my phone. If I say, "Hey Siri, what time is my alarm set for?", I expect Siri to read it out loud. She does not. How do I fix this/Apple needs to fix this or there is literally no point to Siri.
