Hello, I wonder how to hide the footer and header in pages document. These parts take up space and contain little information, and in Microsoft word, we can simply do that by a double-click, do Pages have similar feature?

The Documents panel allows you to deselect header and footer, and subsequently change the top and bottom margins should you need more area for body text.
Although Pages can open and export Word documents, in both cases via translation, it is not a Word clone and functions quite differently.
If you look very closely, under Header and Footer, you should see Document Margins that are changeable.
Deselect header and footer in document sidebar:
I see, but that only hide the contents, the space it has taken up still exists, still a large area of blank page between the last line of last page and the first line in the next page.
Ok, solved. My pages is in old version so I can't find the way to change document margin, and after updating, it can be easily modified.
Can pages hide the header and footer?
