What are iTunes Media Services in System Services in my cellular data usage and why is it using 30 MB of my cellular data?

First off someone please tell me what iTunes media services is. second, how can this be using cellular data when everything that could possibly be be related to it is shut off literally anything and everything that could possibly be related to iTunes media service on my phone is turned off for cellular data usage and then fact I have only been using my phone via Wi-Fi connection and have tested phone for a specific time. Where there should’ve been no cellular use at all and yet iTunes media services is still using data. If someone could explain to me these issues I would appreciate it [Re-Titled by Moderator]

System Services/Software Updates drawing lots of mobile data For a while now System Services and Software updates in particular draws a lot of mobile data. Looking at my overall mobile data usage System Services makes up about 60% of mobile data used. I carefully configured all data using apps, including iOS services (iOS update and App Store are disabled, also most iCloud services) and yet Software updates alone drew over 1gb data within the last 24h. My iOS version is up to date, also no apps have been updated within that period. So where does this data usage come from?

After updating to iOS 18 system services in iPhone are using too much cellular data After updating to iOS 18 (or some another thing) I noticed that system services are using too much cellular data. Please check:

If iCloud Music Library is On -> Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music - Apple Support turn it Off.

If Tunes Match is On -> Subscribe to iTunes Match - Apple Support -> turn it Off.

That didn’t tell me what iTunes Media services is and why is is in contact with my cell phone. The only thing I found out was a way to log out of my iTunes account - I didn’t know there was a way to do that. Logout option is all the way at the bottom of the iTunes page - after scrolling MANY pages down. (Why isn’t that option clearly at the top of page?)

I assume that when I am logged out of my iTunes account, iTunes Media Services use of my cellular data will stop.
