When i enter the @ and the pasword for the screen time code, it wont pet me change, it just give me waiting time

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We understand you are running into an issue changing your Screen Time passcode. We're happy to help. It looks like you may have already seen the steps below, but to ensure nothing is missed we recommend making sure you're using these steps to change your Screen Time passcode:

1. Go to Settings > Screen Time. 

2. Tap Change Screen Time Passcode, then tap Change Screen Time Passcode again.

3. Tap Forgot Passcode?

4. Enter the Apple ID and password* that you used to set up the Screen Time passcode.

5. Enter a new Screen Time passcode, then enter it again to confirm.
