Hidden album Photos in iCloud

Doesn't Hidden Album Photos in iCloud request a password or the Touch ID/Face ID in order to access it? Just like it does in Photos app in Mac, iPhone or iPad?

It doesn't make sense.

Hide photo is not possible on album coming from Mac I'm using IOS 16.2, the Hide option has moved to Actions (3 dots menu), ok that works, but only with photos taken with the iPhone camera. For photos imported from Mac with iTunes, the Hide options no more exists, that means it is impossible to hide a whole album even not a single photo. That's a big security issue since some photos can be very private, and when you want to show your friends your last photos you certainly don't want to show everything. It was such a good idea from Apple to recently protect the Hidden album with face id, but if you cannot put your photos coming from Mac inside it, it's totally useless.

Hidden Photos Not Syncing After I hide a photo on my iPhone, I am not seeing it when I log into iCloud.com or on my other devices. I'm using iCloud photo library on all devices. Any suggestions?

Hi nikolas95,

Biometric authentication is available on iOS and macOS devices. However, when signing in from a web browser you'll only be prompted for your password when signing into the account. You can learn more here: Hide photos on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac - Apple Support
