Is the recently deleted function available in the SE model phone I have on iPhone 11 but I have an SE for work and I don’t see this function in mesaages

First, you have to have iOS 16 installed on your phone to be able to retrieve a deleted message. Is iOS 16 installed on the SE?
iOS 16 must have been installed......before.....the message was deleted
The message must have been deleted within the last 30 days
If you do have iOS 16 installed on your phone and the Recently Deleted option does not appear, you do not have any messages that you have deleted in the last 30 days.
When you do have a message that you have deleted within the last 30 days, the Recently Deleted option will appear and the message will appear in that folder.
But, messages in the Recently Deleted folder are permanently and automatically deleted in 30 days.
