Switching Apple IDs:

For the sake of Security & Privacy, perform as instructed here, including the iCloud log out: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade in your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support. If you don't do so, downloaded item might stay.

In iOS/iPadOS: Go to Settings > [your Apple ID] > Media & Purchases. Sign out of your current ID and sign in with a different one.
