Retrieving deleted song
I can find the deleted song in ITunes and in my Settings/Purchases but nothing works to redownload it. In Itunes, it says "Purchased" where the price is, but I can't do anything more.

The first place to look is your Trash. Can you see the file there?
If you need to re-download from the Store, follow the steps in here carefully:
Redownload music - Apple Support
Make sure to look at Account > Purchased, not in your Purchase History.
