HP OfficeJet 8600 Not working with Ventura

I tried ALL HP troubleshooting and NOTHING. When I try to install new driver it says Apple can't verify if it's safe, so I can't install it. This printer is discontinued so HP doesn't do much either.

Hi isa1216,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

We understand you're unable to install a driver for your HP printer. If macOS is not allowing you to install the software, check your security settings to allow an exception.

"To override your security settings and open the app anyway, follow these steps:

  1. In the Finder  on your Mac, locate the app you want to open.
  2. Don’t use Launchpad to do this. Launchpad doesn’t allow you to access the shortcut menu.
  3. Control-click the app icon, then choose Open from the shortcut menu.
  4. Click Open.
  5. The app is saved as an exception to your security settings, and you can open it in the future by double-clicking it just as you can any registered app."
