i was trying to set up a child account to my family plan to transfer to my sister. I used her phone number to set it up instead of mine, but under my email, and now I cannot transfer to her because I made the mistake of using her phone number.
I can’t figure out a way to change the phone number the child account. Is this possible?

Is the phone number you used to create the Apple ID or is it set as the trusted device to receive verification codes?
If the phone number is the Apple ID, you can change the Apple ID as outlined here: Change your Apple ID - Apple Support
