iPhone keeps getting "Cannot Verify Server Identity" pop ups

I keep getting intermittent pop-ups on my iPhone SE, running 16.3.1, saying that it "Cannot Verify Server Identity". It also says "The identity of "outlook.office.365.com" cannot be verified".

When I click on details, I get the following text:

*.safezone.mcafee.com

Issued by McAfee OV SSL CA 2

Not Trusted

I have no idea what this relates to. I do use Microsoft Outlook as my main mail app, but as far as I know, I've never downloaded anything from McAfee on this phone.

Can someone let me know what I should do?

I spoke with my ISP and they are not using McAfee on our modem device, they also reset our service - this did not resolve the issue. I found a thread of others who have a different ISP and they're experiencing it too.

I've restarted my apple settings and am now speaking to my third Apple technician. Once I find what works, I'll reply again.

I also use Outlook, and do not have a McAfee account, my error states hotmail instead of outlook though and I do not have a Hotmail account.

This is a certificate error through Outlook, Microsoft has shared (search Microsoft Massive Outlook Outage) that it's impacted thousands of outlook users. I removed my Outlook account from my phone and the error stopped. Until it's resolved, I'm going to use Safari to access my email since that doesn't cause any issues.

I'll try to re-add my Outlook into my Mail app in a week or so and report back if the error message comes back.

I am also getting this error. It is annoying. I spoke to support, and they had me remove all my emails, re-install them, the error still persisted, had me remove only my exchange emails and it still persisted. They had me remove my server connection and it seem to slow down some, but it still persisted. I am out of ideas, and I am pretty frustrated on what could be causing this issue. It started about yesterday morning.
