LUMIX S5II RW2. Files Not Opening/Being Displayed on macOS Ventura 13.2

Hi All,

I recently purchased the new S5II and can’t seem to open RW2 files on my 2021 MacBook Pro running macOS Ventura 13.2. This is quite odd because I am able to open RW2 files from my S5 which was released in 2020

Also, Adobe can’t seem to important the RW2 files alongside the fine JPEGs I’ve been taking.

How do I go about getting around this? Any recommended apps? Or should we wait for Apple to fix this on their end!

If you are having issues with opening files, there are some steps you can take.

Use safe mode to isolate and test the issue. This will help determine next steps: Start up your Mac in safe mode
Test to see if the issue happens in multiple users. This lets you isolate the issue to the whole system or just your user. Change Users & Groups settings on Mac
Ensure your Mac is up-to-date. Update macOS on Mac
