Any way to import favourites from Google to Apple? Iv'e built up so many favourites and starred places across the world, that even if Apple Maps was as good as the google offering, I would not use until I could import my favourites.

At present, Apple Maps does not have a system in place to import data from Google Maps. If that's something you'd like to potentially see added in a future release, be sure to leave them Product Feedback to that effect here. All submissions are reviewed and considered, so it's certainly worth the time to submit your thoughts.
