Backing up only CERTAIN folders to iCloud

Choose which Items to Not Upload:

A. Disable what is Mentioned Here: What does iCloud Back Up? - Apple Support

B. Compress the Files and Folders. Decompress it, when downloading it. Name the file someone irrelevant. You must remember the password.

Only files that you place into your iCloud Drive folder will sync. If you enable desktop and documents under iCloud, then those locations will also sync.
