I am having the same issue. I have had my home setup for years at this point. I will list my attempts and results just as a way to have a record. It shows that it is pending but nothing comes up for the person I am inviting.
- Turned off devices (both mine and the persons I am trying to add to the home.) *issue continued*
- Turned off home on both accounts *issue still continues*
- deleted my original home and set it up as new. ( I needed to do it for other reasons but it was done non the less.) *issue continues
- Signed out of iCloud on my devices. I am the one that setup the home so it made sense to me to delete it. *issue still continued*
- Reset Permissions on all devices *continues*
- Changed the device that is my home hub (Apple TV and iPad) *continues*
- Reset network settings on all devices *continues*
Here is a list of what my setup and affected devices.
My Apple ID is the creator of the home. Husband's Apple ID is what we are trying to add to the home. He was previously apart of the home but never was able to access the home.
My Devices: iPad Pro running iPadOS 16.3.1 (non beta)
iPhone 11 Pro Max iOS 16.3.1 (non beta)
Apple TV 4th Gen tvOS 16.3.3 (non beta)
Apple ID has been setup and used since 2013
Keychain, Home, iCloud and iCloud storage are all enabled on all devices and working as expected
Note: I may have been one of those who updated the home when that was available. But unclear how to check or even know if I updated to the new home.
Husband who is being added to the home.
iPhone 14 pro max iOS 16.3.1 (non beta)
iPad Pro iPadOS 16.3.1 (non beta)
Apple ID has been used and working as expected since 2014
