An unexpected error

When trying to watch some TV shows that I have purchased on the TV app on Apple TV, when trying to get into the actual TV series, I am presented with an error "An unexpected error occurred."

The TV is connected over Wifi.

This only happens with some television shows, not all of them. But it is consistent; the ones that work continue to work, and the ones that do not will not open and get the error message. It is happening to TV series which I have previously watched without any issue.

I have tried rebooting and even just did a full rest to factory specs. It is still happening.

I see that someone posted this same question a few years ago, but there was never a real explanation of how to fix it. Can anyone help?
