Recover emails from previous HD

I had a fire that destroyed my office including my 2014 iMac

While cleaning up I found the old SSD that I was using as a HD even though it was burnt I was able to get almost everything from it except the emails stored on it.

I understand they might be in a hidden folder.

Have tried to import to new iMac but I can't seem to find them only older ones up to 2011

Any advise would be appreciated

Thanks

This the process to find a mail folder. Modify the search as required:

To restore mailbox:

Open Finder

Click “GO” in top menu bar then click option key

Open mail folder

Open V9 (or similar) folder

Then find the folders labeled with cryptic titles (at this point you could open TM if you want to go back in time)

Look down through those folders to find a mailbox (note: there may be more than one with same label).

If it contains email you want you can copy the entire folder to your desktop

Go back into mail and import that folder from your desktop

Hi

Thanks for your reply

I thought I'd get an email saying someone had replied to original message.

The SSD was burnt so I dragged all contents of the SSD to a new SSD

I was unable to merge or transfer any other way

I've searched the new SSD and only find folders dated 2011 as shown below

When I go to finder of new computer it seems to just show contents of new computer
