my Apple Music is saying I need to update a payment method but the thing is I use my Apple ID to pay for my Apple Music and it declined, but the thing is I have money on my Apple ID but why isn’t my payment going through?

If you have an active subscription, you'll need to have a payment method set up with your Apple ID. Use the steps below to help with adding a payment method to your Apple ID:
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap your name.
3. Tap Media & Purchases, then tap View Account. You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID.
4. Tap Manage Payments.
5. Tap Add Payment Method.
6. Enter the payment method details, then tap Done.

If you see an error regarding billing or your payment method after changing/updating it, Contact Apple Support directly for additional billing support.
