Apple Wallet hacked

Just to wake up with a notification saying I used my apple pay in a completely different state at 4 in the am. I can’t understand how the apple wallet was compromised spent over 50 dollars and the charged it twice. Is there some way to re secure my device?, Ive since removed all of my cards from wallet, if there is not helpful solution I might as use not use it all together.

iPhone 11, iOS 16

Seems you've been scammed...

So, some notes on this...

A. What Kind of Notification?

Where are you getting this notification? If it is an SMS message or an eMail message it is a scam. Apple will not send you a message informing you of your Apple Pay being in a completely different state..

B. Modify your Credentials, ASAP:

C. Remote this Notification:

Having activated with this, you have been scammed. So, you should take this a bit further. You can report this notification/message to Apple and to your federal government. Use my User Tip: Using the Photos App to Report Scams: - Apple Support:
