Star Wars Battlefront Companion Website

Hello everyone,

I’ve been trying to get this website to work properly on safari: https://api.battlefront.dice.se

It won’t let you log in unless you switch to desktop mode, which is easy enough, but even then it does not seem to be communicating with the game properly because the “credits” you earn while playing it do not transfer to the actual PC/Console game. It will however, accurately display your friends list.

The reason that I’m asking is because my friend has a 4th generation iPad and to this day it works fully as intended for him. I use an iPhone XS Max and was wondering why it would work for him and not me, and if there’s a way I can fix it.

Since you are having issues loading a specific website in Safari, try the following steps to resolve the issue:

1. Connect to a different network.

2. Restart your device.

3. Clear the website data.

4. Ensure that JavaScript is enabled.

Thank you, my apologies if the issue was unclear. The website will load, but will not sync data from the PC game like it’s supposed to. JavaScript is enabled on my phone and I’ve tried on many other devices as well. I’ve looked at the website with chrome dev tools and it looks like some of the cookies it uses to gather information aren’t compatible with desktop / newer browsers. I was wondering if there was a way to “emulate” the search features of an old iPad that would let it work. I reached out to EA but it looks like they don’t have any plans to update so I’m trying to work around it.

Thanks for getting back to us. We don't have any way to make those features work on your iPad. It would be up to the app developers to provide an update.
