Issue in proximity sensor

Many times when making call or recieving calls proximity sensor not working properly. After removing iphone from ear while on call, screen does not wake up to cut the call we have to double click the lock button which many times result in reject the call. This problem is happen when we disabled "Rise to wake" screen option. Please provide solution i have already updated the latest ios. This issue many times happen when we are having incoming call and the iphone is in pocket and when we bring iphone out then so many time screen freeze and not able to pick the call i keep scrolling screen to pick the call but after so many seconds it works in normal way.
