Hi Bobo7z,

We have an article that helps understand what is shown in the battery usage menu for your iPhone.

You might see a few messages next to apps:

Under each app, you might see these usage types:

- Background Activity means that most of the app's battery usage — such as playing music or tracking location — happened while the app was in the background.

- No Cell Coverage and Low Signal means that your device was searching for a signal or being used with a low signal.

- Connected to Charger means the app was used only when your device was charging.

About the battery usage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

That should help you with any questions for battery usage.

Hi Bobo7z,

The "Background Activity" designator will applies if the app reflects battery usage while in the background. As the items in question show they were only used while connected to a charger, it's possible those items were operating in the background while your device was connected to power. To review the Background configuration for your device, go to Settings - General - Background App Refresh. You may choose which apps on that screen have access to this feature, or set the top option to "Off" to disable it entirely. Please note some notifications and apps may not operate as you're accustomed to if you fully disable this or their access to refresh in the background.

Regards.
