how do i upload my photos from icloud to a windows computer? my storage is almost full and i want to have the pictures on my pc but everytime i try to manually upload them it fails.

Go to https://www.icloud.com/ on your PC. Open Photos here. Select the ones that you want to download and click on the cloud with the arrow pointing down.

i did, but it just opent documents and tells me to name the file and i cant upload the pictures what do i do now? but thank you for trying to help
