Is there any way to update the Photos App independently from a computer software update anymore?

Hi!

I have an early 2015 MacBook Air that is not compatible with the latest software update to Ventura OS. I was hoping to see if there was a way to upgrade my Photos app to Ventura independently from a computer software upgrade? I noticed from other threads that ever since iPhoto was discontinued you are not able update the app through the App Store anymore. Is there any other way I can upgrade the Photos app or am I stuck with the Monterey OS version?

Thanks :)!

If you need to access your Photos Library from several devices with different system versions, I recommend to upload the library to iCloud Photos. iCloud will sync the library to each device, converted for the system version on the device. For me this is working very well. I can work with my photos on my Macs with macOS 10.14 Mojave as well a on my Macs with macOS 13 Ventura, and on my iPad and my iPhone - and the libraries are perfectly in sync and identical with all adjustments, albums, folders, according to the capabilities of the device.
