iCloud Storage - Old family and New Family Not Working

I was previously part of a family group and decided to leave that group to start my own family. After leaving the group I subscribed to Apple One Family with the intent of sharing the features of this with my family. They could access everything but mentioned they didn't have access to the 200GB iCloud storage. I went into iCloud, manage account storage, and have an option called "Use Family Storage". When I select that a message asks if I want to use the storage from the old family group. I don't see an option to share my storage with my family group, which I see on other people's devices. I just want to share the iCloud storage I have with the new family group but it's like I'm still somewhat tethered to this former group.

Hi NDdaredevil52,

Based on what you've shared we believe the best step will be to review your iCloud+ Family Sharing setup as outlined here: Share iCloud+ with your family - Apple Support

"On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

In iOS 16 or iPadOS 16 later:

  1. Go to Settings > Family.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap iCloud+.
  4. Tap Use Family Storage.

In iOS 15 or iPadOS 15 or earlier:

  1. Go to Settings > [your name].
  2. Tap Family Sharing, then tap iCloud+.
  3. Tap Use Family Storage."

We hope that this helps!

Regards.
