This book cannot be opened because required software cannot be downloaded.

The book is a few years old so it’s probably not worth the hassle of dealing with Apple Support about a refund. Funny, I can view it on my iPad and iPhone, but not on the MacBook Pro. Usually all the folks at Apple Support are very helpful; the last person not so much. Rather than reading the lengthy case notes from previous sessions this morning, she said, “just tell me what’s going on,” obviously not wanting to read. Thanks for your reply. I don’t purchase many books from the Apple Books store, but now I won’t purchase any. I would think that buying something electronic should stay in my library indefinitely. Nothing like a physical book, I guess.
