Mount Synology SMB share to macbook with Ventura

I would like to mount Synology SMB share /volume1/data to my macbook with Ventura. I can access files in Synology/volume1/data folder in Finder, but I would like to be mounted as directory. How do I do that?

I mount mine in the GUI via Finder, under Network. I log in to the Synology and I am presented with shares I can mount. I authenticate, and voilà. In Terminal it shows up in /Volumes.

I'm slightly puzzled by your question, as for me it is very straightforward.

Also this can be done in the Finder's Go menu, Connect to Server. smb://nameofserver.local

I see Synology in left pane under "Locations". I can find Synology under Finder -> Go -> Network.

I can view shares (data, video, photos,...), I can see folders and files in those shares. But how do I "mount" thise shares?

Where are they mounted? What is the path to them in "Terminal".

If I open Terminal and go to "cd /root/something/... and so on", where I find those shares?

If I type "ls Volumes/data" I get "Operation not permited", sudo or user.

When I open Safari, I would like to open my html file stored on Synology as default page...

I don't know what you mean by "linux style."

M2 MacBook Air style, under Ventura, my mounted Synology DS921+ shows the mounted share under /Volumes on the command line and I can see and access the files and directories on it.

Perhaps your Synology device or your installation of it has left it with restricted behaviors that I do not see on my equipment.

In Terminal,

username# cd /Volumes
username# cd nameofsynologyshare
username# ls -al

I am a mere duffer on the command line. Do the commands I list work for you?
