Hi, I’m logged into my work phone with an Apple ID using my work email. But somehow Ive connected my personal Apple ID as it’s brought in all my personal photos onto my work phone. How can I separate them?

So you have two different iPhones and two different Apple ID's, correct? Then, that should not happen unless you logged into your work phone with your personal Apple ID.
If you are using one Apple ID on both phones, then the solution is to use separate Apple ID's.
