Apple TV loses remote

I have the new ATV mounted behind my TV, as was the older version. After a variable period of time, it will lose connection to the remote, and today even lost the remote on my iPhone. I have to take it out from behind the TV and restart and /or reset it to get it to work. Several calls to support with no answers. A visit to the "genius" bar resulted in "don't mount it behind the TV"

Apple TV (2022) Remote Disconnect Issue TLDR: Apple TV remote disconnects from unit daily. Only fix is unplugging or factory resetting. Gone through all troubleshooting and replaced device. Same issues. Hey I’m at a loss of what to do. I’ve gone through 3 Apple TVs at this point. The remote is somehow disconnecting from the Apple TV. I’ve done all the troubleshooting and checks and even gone to the Apple Store where I exchanged for new TVs and remotes. The only fox is unplugging the unit for a few seconds and plugging it back in. However, doing this every day or every other day, or even several times during the same day is not the Apple way. Yes I can use my phone as a remote but I don’t want to. Has anyone else figured out a way to fix it that’s not listed on the Apple website for troubleshooting (I’ve already done this and been to the Genius Bar and gotten a new one). Does Apple even know this is a potential issue? I mean 3 Apple TVs with the same issue.

remote loses connection constantly (4K version) The remote, despite being fully charged and only 4.5ft from the tv (a TCL) and the apple tv box, constantly loses connection, and I have to use my phone as a remote. If I walk the four steps and face it directly at the Apple Tv, it works. But should I get back to my couch, it's connection is lost. The system is updated, there's nothing blocking it's access, and this is infuriating. Is this happening to anyone else? Is it possible that this particular remote is trash and a new one is required?

I think I solved the issue by turning off the WiFi connection to my Vizio TV. As of now, the new ATV is working fine mounted behind the TV
