How to enable Apple Pay for 13 years kid?

My child uses bank’s payment card, but I can’t add it to Apple Pay to use it on his phone ar iwatch. Why it is so?

If in the US, you can add a card to Apple Pay if the Apple ID used on thew device is set to 13 years of age or older. You cannot add one if the Apple ID is set to 12 or younger.


Other countries may have other age requirements for card usage.

If you're less than 13 years old, Apple Pay isn't available and you can't add a card in the Wallet app. Age varies by country or region.
