Apple Watch charging turning off and on

Since the new update, when I put my Apple Watch on the charger, it will charge for a minute then it stops charging. After a few minutes it starts charging again then stops charging. This cycle just continues over and over. It’s very annoying. Eventually my watch does get a complete charge. I have switched out the chargers. I have done a reset on the watch. I have done a reset on the phone. I have unpaired and re-paired to the phone. Is anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions?
