Emails disappearing

Every now and again my emails in the inbox of my iPad,just disappear,I don’t do anything to make it happen, I might say,look at my folders or similar, ,very inconvenient,worried I’m going to loose important stuff

We'd be happy to help out. Typically if your emails are disappearing on one device, that might indicate that they're being managed elsewhere. For instance, if someone deletes an email on their computer, then refreshes the Inbox on their iPad, the email would then disappear on the iPad side of things. This might indicate someone else has access to your email, in which case, you should secure your email account by changing the password.


Additionally, if the email in question is a preconfigured IMAP account and not a POP account, you can safely remove it and add it back if you're having issues with it since the emails are not stored locally, but instead remain on the email server. You can also always check to see if these emails which disappeared are still showing on the webmail. If not, then what you're seeing in the Mail client is expected.
