What is the exact model of your Mac and version of macOS? You can get this information by clicking the Apple menu and selecting "About This Mac"? Also, how much free space is on your internal boot drive?

Did you uninstall Zoom by following the developer's instructions for uninstalling Zoom? Did you reboot the Mac afterwards? Just deleting the Zoom app is not enough to fully remove Zoom from a Mac as some bits are stored in some system areas.

What exactly happens when you attempt to install Zoom now? We need specifics how far the process gets and stops. Did you download the most recent version of the Zoom installer?

Try booting into Safe Mode to see if it makes a difference. If Safe Mode works, then it means you have some third party software installed which is interfering with the normal operation of macOS. Typical culprits are anti-virus apps, cleaning/optimizer apps, and third party security software.
