My left AirPod pro started hissing after latest firmware update. Goes away when I use both AirPods at the same time

No. I am not experiencing this.
Troubleshooting Hissing-Sounding AirPods:
A. Interference:
It may be interference that getting in the way here.

- If the Sound from your Wireless Headphones Cuts Out or is Distorted - Apple Support
B. Report this to Apple:
Do your Part: It is important that you provide feedback on this occurrence to Apple. Apple won't get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed.
- Go Here: Feedback - AirPods - Apple
- Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
- Comment: that this all occurred after installing this update, and how you have troubleshot it thus far. Include the URL to this thread.
- Proceed from there as necessary
