Not yet, but this issue happened on two of my Mac(both m2 and intel). According to a Reddit post, there is a new bug that one event cannot have more than 600files, otherwise Fcpx will crash, simply create a new event will do the trick. https://www.reddit.com/r/MacOS/comments/105jngm/final_cut_pro_crashes_after_upgrading_ventura/

There is a system issue with complexity. It's in the Finder as well. The number is categorically incorrect. I have an event with over 800 clips and others have over 1500. Specific tasks are effected but the FCP doesn't crash on that 600 number specifically.
Post an EtreCheck report.
You have Chrome and its keystone daemons. They kill video applications by hogging the system videotoolbox. See https://chromeisbad.com for why this is, and how to remove them completely. After removing them you will need to delete and reinstall FCP.
Your third party installers, FxFactory and Red Giant might need to be updated.
i think I have definitely over 300 files in one event, now every time I need to do a new project, I create a new event and then start the project.
this macOS 13.2 is just too weird:(, not only fcp keeps crashing, other apps also crashed in the past few days which normally won’t in the last macOS version :(

Did you try trashing your preferences?

Hi, lots of thanks for your time, here is the report
The same for me... is really ANNOYING!!!
I have to close some jobs and I can't do it
Unfortunately there's a problem with the website at the moment and I can't open the linked report.
How many items do you have in an event? Try making more events and spreading the clips among them. The number of items in an event that triggers the crashing may be as low as 300 on some systems.
I moved some clips that I needed to use to a new event and my project stopped crashing. Hopefully Apple releases a fix soon.
