Whatsapp chat history

I’ve backed up my Whatsapp chat 2 days ago in iCloud on my old phone.But when i reinstall it on my new iPhone, the chats displayed were from my previous backup in Feb 2022. Why was the latest backup not picked up?

Or it only backs up the settings of WhatsApp without the message threads? my I have my auto backup on WhatsApp turned off as well as my end to end encryption, but I have WhatsApp turned on on iCloud backup. Whatsapp: backup date differs in latest backup in whatsapp (more recent) versus iCloud backup (older) - where to find more recent one? My iPhone was stolen and my iCloud backup is dated February 2021 (yes, I know 😕 - but I've bought more backup space today, so this will never again happen to me), so I lost 1.5 years of chat history when installing my new iPhone 😢 (containing all the messages of my new love 💔). However, when I look in the whatsapp app on my new iPhone, I see that my last whatsapp backup was made on August 8, 2022 (see photo). However, I don't know where to find it… How can I still install the latest version? And where do I find it? Thank you very much! Stefanie (PS: i work in Windows)

iCloud Backup I lost all my WhatsApp conversations history and had no WhatsApp backup. But I have an iCloud Backup from July 28th. Can I recover WhatsApp data from this backup? If yes how can I do that?
