I was wearing my apple watch on a boat and the band snapped due to no fault of my own. The watch is now somewhere deep in water. It was the regular band that comes with every apple watch. I bought it less than a year ago and was wondering if I could claim warranty and get a new apple watch?
Neither the warranty nor AppleCare+ covers loss or theft of watches. You can buy a new watch, but unless you have a non-Apple insurance policy which does, would need to pay the full price for it.
