Is it possible to have two iPhones, both associated with on Apple ID? If a new phone is added as "Trusted Number" when setting up what happens to iPhone/number previously set up as associated with the ID?

You can have multiple phones set up using the same Apple ID. Both would become trusted devices. If your number is changing, remove the old number from appleid.apple.com
Thank you muguy. I'm trying to add a second phone to Apple ID so I can support a phone for my 87-year old father to use as bluetooth device for his hearing aids. Apple support didn't have the answer and the prompts on the phone set up gave me pause. You help is much appreciated.
