I subscribe to AT&T Active Armor Mobile security advanced. If I do not use VPN then AT&T Active Armor Mobile is unable to work 100 per cent. The staff in the store where I purchased my Apple iPhone told me not to set up VPN ….they did not give me any details,,,,if VPN is “on” will that compromise my iPhone? Does anyone use AT&T Active Armor Mobile and use VPN with Apple?

VPN will impede your ability to access the internet on your iPhone. If you require some tightly controlled environment, such as if your employer or school administrator carefully supervises and monitors your iPhone, then your IT Administrator may require VPN.
