Sleep schedule alarm goes off WHEN SKIPPED

1/10 times that I skip my sleep schedule alarm from my Lock Screen, it still goes off. Every time this happens the little icon will say “no alarm” but it still activates.

I need background noise to fall asleep, so every time I skip my alarm I will have the audio player also active at the bottom of my lock screen. Could this issue be a bug caused by this?

I’ve seen this question asked but the response they received was a link to a setup guide for the sleep schedule. To avoid this non-answer; SLEEP SCHEDULE SKIPPED BUT SLEEP SCHEDULE ALARM STILL GO WEE-WOO

Hi windsor97,

It's not expected behavior if you're completing the steps below found in the article here to stop the next scehduled alarm: Turn off alarms and delete sleep schedules in Health on iPhone

"Turn off only your next scheduled alarm

  1. Tap Browse at the bottom right, then tap Sleep.
  2. Scroll down to Your Schedule, then tap Edit (below Next).
  3. Turn off Alarm.

The Next Wake Up Only screen with Alarm turned off at the bottom.

4.Tap Done.

After your next wake up time, your normal alarm resumes."

If those are the steps taken to skip, and your iOS is fully updated reach out to Apple Support directly to report the issue and further assist.
