Advanced Data Protection - not available for 3+ Months

I am not able to turn on Advanced Data Protection (ADP) until 03/XX/2023.

Advanced Data Protection Not Available

Because you recently reset your end-to-end encrypted data in iCloud, you can’t turn on Advanced Data Protection until March XX, 2023. This wait time helps protect your account.

(I replaced the actual date with XX for security purposes)

I have had this message for over a month now. In other words, I am not able to turn on ADP for 3+ months. I can understand 72 hours, 7 days or even 2 weeks to make sure that the user has enough time before a bad actor hacks into the account. But, 3+ months? After 2 weeks, it wont add any value I would say.

In any case, anything I can do to shorten the time? I have access to all my passwords, recovery keys, passcodes, trusted devices, trusted numbers. I mean there should be a way to prove to the system I can verify my identity with like 4+ different methods registered to my account.

I have tried macOS, iPadOS, sign off/sign back on, reset recover key, tried different trusted devices that were already on the account, all devices are up to date, all recent devices.

Anyone has come across this? Anyone has ideas?
