Accidental report of address to maps

I accidentally hit add to maps, thinking it was adding to my personal maps and I did not mean to send it to Maps directly to add it’s a home address of somebody not a business of any sort need to make that easier to understand when you have that button available in my opinion

Remove report made to Apple Maps I accidentally added a friend's address in Maps as a Report. I DID NOT MEAN TO DO THIS! There does not appear to be a way to remove the report, and I don't want my friend to have any problems as a result of this utterly stupid error on my part. HOW can I get the report removed? It seems really strange that there is not a way for me to remove something that I myself (accidentally) submitted. PLEASE HELP. Thank you.

So do the same thing again, and indicate the previous message was sent in error.
