Just updated my new 24 inch =iMac to Ventura OS13.2 and the inbox emails with attachments do not show the icon next to the attachment file size. I tried the column layout and check marked the "attachment" option. The header shows the icon but not next to the inbox email with the attachment.
Does anybody know how to solve this issue?

Quit mail and relaunch it holding the Shift key down... compare your results.
