Do Not Disturb

Why didn’t apple have to go and screw around with Do Not Disturb…again. I just updated to 16.0.2 and now I have to set a schedule for Do Not Disturb? What was with simply being able to turn it on and off? Is there a way to still do that? I had to set a schedule in order to be able to use it. It is asinine.

Can anyone give sensical instructions for using the new version of Do Not Disturb? I cannot even figure out how to turn this app ON, and Apple’s instructions for this app are BEYOND USELESS. you used to just be able to hit a simple toggle switch and turn on do not disturb. Now you have to go through a gazillion instructions, some kind of scheduling, and I still can’t figure out how to turn it on, or how to turn it off again if I’ve managed to turn it on. The feature went from being something simple and useful to being a complete nightmare. Help!!!

Can I turn on do not disturb without setting a schedule? My schedule changes daily so scheduling do not disturb time is not helpful. Is there a way for me to turn it on/off as I need to without setting a schedule or location?

You can still turn it on and off whenever you want.

Scheduling is just an option.
