MBP 2020 not starting at all - No Power to the Keyboard or Screen

My MBP 2020 (2 x USB-C) MXK32B/A suddenly died without any symptoms while I'm working on it. This is my primary kit so feel like the world has collapsed on me :(

There's no power coming to the keyboard as the trackpad is dead and not clickable, no keys or the touchbar is lighting up, screen is pitch black, no sign of light or chimes or sounds.

It should have plenty of energy left on the battery as it was plugged in. No issues with the power adaptor either / tried with another power adaptor to be sure.

I've tried the basic troubleshooting methods including the SMC reset procedures, a few times. Nothing worked.

Chatted to the Apple Support, who suggested to take it to an Apple Store, where the repairs costs start at £299 and it could be higher. I have another MBP, which is 8 years old and it still works like new so for a 2 year old kit to die suddenly... I'm not sure why?

Has anyone else had a similar problem and managed to get that resolved? If so what was the problem and how you did manage to resolve the issue please?
