Dell monitor U2518D no longer works after iOS update to Ventura

This monitor worked with my iMac for nearly two years and can no longer be detected since running an update to Ventura. I am on latest version, 13.2. I have troubleshot everything and confirmed monitor is not the problem - it works with my iPad and other devices via USB C.

There are no drivers or firmware available for Mac on Dell's website. Is there a way to solve this? Similar threads have been solved by buying a new monitor. I don't want to do that. Thank you!

I'm on a 2021 MBP using USB-C to a Dell U2723QE which has worked flawlessly with the MBP. Until Ventura 13.2. This monitor as a 90 watt power to the laptop through the USBC connection.

Now, with the laptop closed, it will no longer wake up the monitor, requiring me to power cycle the Dell and wake up the laptop by opening it to enter the password.

I'm not happy, Apple!
